We, the people of Prague, love to celebrate, and we are always organising new cultural events. This year, we're celebrating Franz Kafka's 100th anniversary, and the city is commemorating him with concerts, exhibitions, and festivals. We are also celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bedřich Smetana, our beloved composer, whose symphonic poem Vltava most likely welcomed you on board the plane that landed in Prague. If not, find it on Spotify, sit by the Vltava River, and listen to it on your headphones. It’s magical. You can enjoy Prague whether you are here with your children or with friends, whether you are a wine lover or a sightseer. That's why we've put this section together and will regularly bring you tips for great experiences in our Mother of Cities.
