Ballooning has been practised in Prague since 1790 when the French inventor Jean-Pierre Blanchard flew with the Bohemian Count Joachim of Sternberk one kilometre above the ground. You can follow in their footsteps and enjoy the view of centuries-old Prague and its surroundings from the air—the romantic meanders of the Vltava River and the famous castles and chateaus. If that's too adventurous for you and you'd rather stay grounded, then sightseeing cruises on the Vltava River are the ideal choice. Setting off from a hidden-away dock in the underlying waterways of the Old Town, you’ll glide through previously unknown and mysterious corners of Prague and under the last preserved arch of the Judith Bridge from 1169.
