Still planted along the scenic path are all the typical Moravian and Bohemian varieties. The millennial history of the vineyard dates back to the 10th century, when the south slope, with it extraordinary view of the rest of Prague was selected by Prince Wenceslas himself. St Wenceslas Vineyard and the adjacent Villa Richter underwent extensive renovations in 2008.
