The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will open its historical premises to the public on the occasion of the national holiday, the Day of the Establishment of the Independent Czechoslovak State. People will once again be able to look into the prestigious interiors and learn about the history of the Rohan Palace in Malá Strana. The Great and Small Mirror Halls are used for management meetings, Ministry functions and press conferences. It will also be possible to see the Minister’s study, walk through the J. A. Komensky Lounge and the Ministers’ Gallery. The tours will take place from 9:00 am and then every half hour until 4.00 pm. Each tour lasts about 30 minutes. Reservations are not required. At 14:00 there will be one tour in English. The entrance to the main building is located at Karmelitská 8, Prague 1. The nearest tram stop is Hellichova and the nearest metro station is Malostranská.
