There are few things I love more than fresh flowers. Cheese is up there, but flowers are a real close second. One of my FAVORITE things to do when I’m in the city is walk down to Pikes Place and load up on the flowers as if they’re about to go extinct. You really can’t beat a $10 bouquet of fresh flowers that is twice the size of your face. Unless you have a freakishly large face, in which case, you don’t count.

If you’ve never been to Seattle, Pikes Place Market is a must. Peruse the local flower vendors and be sure to make a stop at Pirosky Piroshky for a Smoked Salmon Pate. Taste test your way through the market being sure to check the ghost pepper jelly off your bucket list. Unless of course you’re too scared. Between magic shops and vintage books, ABC gum walls and hidden burlesque shows, you’ll be sure to remain thoroughly entertained. I wear many hats, but tourist happens to be the one that looks the cutest lately.
