LET'S TALK

Okay, so by no means am I a skincare guru, but I have dealt with my fair share of breakouts, oily skin, dry skin…you name it. Not to mention the excessive redness caused by my rosacea. I rarely share beauty products with y’all because I want to make sure I’m only sharing products I ABSOLUTELY swear by. Which is why you won’t find a moisturizer on this list (I haven’t found one good enough). These products are the epicenter of my skincare regimen. My holy grail, can’t-live-without-it products. If I’m gonna be wearing this skin, every day, for the rest of my life, you better bet it’s gonna look good. That sounded creepy…let’s move on.

CLEANSER

I’ve been using the ExfoliKate Cleanser by Kate Somerville for about 3 years now! It’s quickly become a cult classic in my skincare regimen. It’s gentle on my skin while still managing to keep those pesky breakouts away!

10/10 - Would recommend.

EXFOLIANT

I live, breathe and die by Paula’s Choice skincare. This 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant is another staple in my skincare regimen. A product I don't know if I could live without. It's amazing for cleaning out your pores and washing away dead/dull skin cells. I use it every morning and evening before bed. No need to wash it off!

BOOSTER

My second favorite Paula’s Choice product is their 10% Azelaic Acid Booster! It’s perfect for pinpointing breakouts and noticeably evens out my skin tone (which is a big deal when you have rosacea)! Not something I use every day, but when I want to give my skin a boost.

SERUM

My 10% Niacinamide Booster is the last of the Paula’s Choice products. I use the concentrate to help even out my skin tone and smooth out the texture of my skin. If you ever deal with bumpy/uneven skin, this one’s for you! You can wear it alone or mix it in with your moisturizer.

SCRUB

About once a week I break out my Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Treatment. I was introduced to this product by a makeup artist who recommended it to all her brides, pre-wedding. She claimed it would even out the texture of your skin and make large pores less visible. Perfect for a wedding day glow. Let me tell you…she wasn’t lying! Within a month of using the treatment, my skin was as smooth and even as a baby’s tush. It’s a splurge for sure, but worth EVERY PENNY.

SUNSCREEN

I’ll be honest, I was never a big sunscreen person until I turned 28. It was probably when realized I needed to start taking better care of my skin if I wanted it to stay young and lustrous forever. I hated how most sunscreens felt heavy on my skin and left it feeling oily. The Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen is basically a makeup primer with SPF 40. AND it leaves a matte finish, so your skin doesn’t look like it’s melting off once you've applied your makeup. That was enough to get me to add it into my morning routine.
