2018 fashion month was swathed with checkered blazers. Fashionistas paired their jackets with everything from designer dresses to athletic bike shorts (a look I’m not sure I’ll ever fully tackle). Designers have since reimagined the piece, deconstructing it, playing with texture and color. I always try to tell myself I don’t need another blazer, but I’ve come to realize, one can never have TOO MANY blazers. Revisions aside, I'm convinced the piece will remain as eternal as the white T-shirt.

You’ll want to invest in some garment tape to make sure your assets are still intact. Looking to make a bold statement? Go all out with a power suit. Focus on striking fabrics and structured tailoring to nail the look.
