Dedicate your second day to the Old Town. Start in Prague’s Venice and sail under the legendary Charles Bridge. Visit the Klementinum, see the beauty of the unique Baroque library with more than 27,000 volumes, and climb the Astronomical Tower, where you can see Prague laid out in front of you. Discover the mysterious atmosphere of the Jewish Quarter and explore the historic Powder Tower. End the day in the splendid Municipal House, a pearl of Prague Art Nouveau. From the Powder Tower, continue to the House of the Black Madonna, a gem of Cubist architecture. Here, you can also visit the unique Cubist café. Then head to Národní Avenue and admire the majestic National Theatre. Follow in the footsteps of Kafka, Einstein, and Werfel with a stop for refreshment in the Slavia Café or Louvre Café. Don’t forget the iconic Dancing House, known as Fred and Ginger, and end your day with a stroll along Náplavka embankment, where Prague’s residents spend time on Saturdays at farmers’ markets and evenings with a glass of wine while listening to concerts. If you have the energy, head to Vyšehrad, where you will find stunning views and interesting places to discover, such as the Gothic cellar at Vyšehrad, the Basilica of St. Peter and Paul, or the Vyšehrad Casemates and Gorlice.
