In the early 20th century, Prague ranked among the most important centres of European cinema and is still a popular destination for film crews from around the world. Let’s visit the sites inherently linked to the film industry. We will talk about Prague’s art-house cinemas, the development of Czech film during the First Republic and film production during World War II and the totalitarian period.
