Pomander

Our pomander is an elegant everyday accessory, a diffuser pendant necklace to soothe your senses! A tribute to the alchemists in the court of Emperor Rudolf II (1552-1612), this intricately pierced spherical metal locket releases a lovely aromatherapeutic fragrance. A soft ball of wool inside the pendant is infused with expertly blended organic essential oils, natural resin, floral waxes and other natural ingredients.

Pomander, from the French "pomme d’ambre", was once fashionable jewellery that held within a ball of dried aromatic herbs. Inhaling the scent, or carrying the pomander as a decoration or a talisman, was thought to protect against infections and foul smells.
