Jewish Museum in Prague — Spanish Synagogue

The architecturally exceptional Spanish Synagogue has expanded its exhibition space to more than 600 m2. The new permanent exhibition follows the first historical part, which is located in the Maisel Synagogue. The exhibition in the Spanish Synagogue “Jews in the Bohemian Lands, 19th-20th Century” explores the history and culture of the Jewish community in the past two centuries. Attention is paid here to the life of Jewish society in Bohemia and Moravia from emancipation to the Velvet Revolution.
