The Night of Churches is an annual event that is intended to allow the general public to get closer to and encounter Christianity, even in places that are not normally accessible. Individual organizers invite you to attend concerts, guided tours, exhibitions, the opportunity to talk with clergy, to rest quietly in the sacred space or to pray for the dead. The whole point of the event is to present the essence of Christianity, which is not even in the external rituals, symbols and gestures, but in the mindset and behaviour of people who learn to do so in these very spaces where they gather, pray or make offerings. Admission is free.
